This August is going to be a month to remember. First thing first, The Arctic Monkeys concert that I have
long waited for is
finally here, this Thursday to be exact! I honestly can't keep my excitement in, I've heard some amazing things about them performing live, and not to mention I get to witness Alex Turner's suave coolness ooze from the stage in uber close proximity! I also get to see my first real-life project come together this month. I've been working on an patio addition and have been running around the city planning department getting plans checked and submitted. It's a crazy process, and I've learned so much that studio has never ever mentioned nor prepped me for. I can't wait to see it start construction! Check out the mood boards below that I created during the beginning process of design development, and to get a general vibe of how I envision the new patio space to be! With my grandfather's 82nd birthday around the corner, I may be making a tiny trip to Las Vegas in the upcoming week as well! Yes, my grandpa know's how to party...this time, it's Vegas style! Prepping for Barcelona this month is also going to be super crazy. Packing, shopping, and duolingo-ing like a mad-woman will be just a few more 'to-do' activities on an otherwise jam packed August. Here's to the beginning of a once in a life-time experience!
