Sweet reads, Sweet sounds, Sweet year

I've heard from so many people that 2014 was a swift kick in the butt and that they could not wait to put the year behind and start a fresh 2015. Why is it that as each year goes by people assume that the next will be just that much better? From January juice cleanse cliches to repeated new year resolutions- here's to turning a blind eye to all that grey noise because I've had one of the best years of my life in 2014.
